I have had such a "sweet" week at Balloon Boss Summit. I was able to teach some beautiful people and learn from amazing people as well. But the best was that a few of my friends took some extra time with me to really help me learn and be more confident when taking photos of myself, so that I can show myself more as the face of my business. Through this simple yet profound ordinance, I am reminded of His love, sacrifice, and the chance for a fresh start. The sacrament is more than a ritual; it is a time to reflect on my life, recommit to my values, and feel the Savior’s grace. I am thankful for this weekly renewal, which fills me with peace, strengthens my resolve, and draws me closer to Him. Today was tough. My heart is heavy as I mourn the passing of my dear friend, Tommy. 💔 He was a remarkable human being, and his creativity and passion for balloons were beyond inspiring. The kindness in his heart and the warmth in his spirit were felt by everyone who knew him. I’ll never forget meeting him for the first time at Balloon Boss Summit, where Rebekah and I were absolutely starstruck, both of us fangirling over such a legend. Later, when I received a friend request from him on Facebook, I was thrilled—I couldn’t believe someone I admired so much wanted to connect with me. The light and love that Tommy brought into the world were truly unique, and I am so grateful for the years I had to get to know him. His influence on the balloon industry, and on each of us personally, will live on forever. Rest in peace, my friend. You will never be forgotten. 💚🦋

Yesterday, we had the incredible opportunity to deliver and set up our new very first balloon mural wall for the NDSU Homecoming event! 🏈 From concept to design to execution, I loved every step of the process, and I think it turned out great! A huge shoutout to my friend Grace and the four amazing missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who came to the rescue and helped us get the wall into place and tied down – we couldn’t have done it without them! I also had fun making cute twisted balloon bisons and festive green and gold cowboy hats for attendees. We weren't able to get to the French Fry feed last night, so instead we had potato night at home for dinner with the missionaries. Mashed potatoes, twice baked potatoes, homemade french fries, funeral-potatoes and roasted potatoes. We love potatoes in this house.

🏅 The Olympics are a big deal in our house because of my son, Elijah. He’s been a gymnast since he was a baby and has won medals at the last two Western National Championships. His dedication is incredible—he eats, breathes, and lives gymnastics. Just this Saturday, he woke up at 4 AM to watch the US men's gymnastics all-around and team qualification competition live. We are so proud of him and thankful for his coaches at Red River Valley Athletics.
